Internet privacy policy

Data Collection

GGTC collect only personally identifiable information that has been voluntarily and specifically provided by the visitors to the GGTC website. We receive limited information such as name, company, address, email and telephone or fax numbers from the website enquiry forms. This information is typically collected for the purpose of:

  • Registration for certain areas of the site
  • Request for further information or call back
  • Distribution of relevant reference materials

We do not actively seek demographic information such as gender, age or occupation, however in the submission of an application for any vacancy at GGTC, this information may be submitted on the voluntary basis when responding to an online job application. GGTC maintains a policy of limiting the amount of information collected to only a minimum amount required to complete a visitor’s request.

Visitors are also able to send email through the site. Their messages will contain the user’s screen name and email address, as well as any additional information the user may wish to include in the message. Because we use the Web site as a recruiting tool, a visit to the Web site may also result in the user sending a resume to an individual within GGTC via enquiries.

GGTC do not intend in any way to seek sensitive information through the use of the website. It some case as a part of the recruiting process sensitive information may be sought if it is a legal requirement. To this end sensitive information relates to information about a candidate’s race or ethnic origin, political views, religion or creed, trade union membership, sexual life, criminal record and physical and mental being. If you do wish to provide sensitive information for any reason, GGTC accept that it is at your explicit consent to do so for the purpose of the ways described in this privacy document or as described at the point where you chose to disclose this information.

Use of Data

A visitor may choose to disclose personal information in any of the following examples:

  • Submission of resumes or work history
  • Participation in online forums, discussions
  • Contacting us for further information
  • Opting in to be a recipient on our mailing list

Information attained by the site is used only for the intended purpose stated at the time that the information is collected. This data is not shared with other entities in the network for secondary or unrelated purposes, or shared with a third party, unless otherwise disclosed at the point of collection. If there is an instance where such information may be shared, the visitor will be asked prior permission

In the case of joining the mailing list as stated above, where visitors have explicitly opted in to receive GGTC marketing materials and other initiatives, we will not use this data to facilitate unwarranted marketing activities from outside parties. We make every effort to ensure that information requested is of a minimal standard, however if a visitor deems so excessive, we implore the visitor to express those concerns via enquiries@ggtc.co.uk

Data retention

Contact information about visitors (such as information generated though registration for requesting more information) will be kept as long as the information is required to complete the enquiry. Mailing list information, online forums and email are kept for only the period of time considered reasonable to complete request or until such time that a user asks for it to be removed. In the case of resumes they are held until such time as a position has been filled unless it is at the request of the applicant for the resume to be held for reference to future roles.


Every visitor who submits personal identifiable data to GGTC, has the right to access or request for that data to be amended, updated or removed at any such time. In order to do so it is suggested that the visitor either request for such changes or removal via enquiries@ggtc.co.uk, and we will make every provision to do so as quickly as possible.

Third Party Links

GGTC has and will continue to update a number of third party links throughout the website. These websites do not operate under the guise of GGTC and therefore are not subject to our privacy practises, therefore no longer applying when a visitor navigates away from his page. If a visitor is unsure about any of these links, then it is recommended that the visitor check subsequent privacy policies and terms and conditions before proceeding with giving any information.


At GGTC we accept responsibility to ensure that all personally identifiable information is protected by standard network procedures and protocols with the aim of eliminating misuse and alteration of the data. As such the security policy of the GGTC network is to only provide authorised users access to this information, where these authorised users have agreed to strict work practises to ensure confidentiality.


The trademarks, names, logos and service marks (collectively “trademarks”) displayed on this website are registered and unregistered trademarks of the website owner. Nothing contained on this website should be construed as granting any license or right to use any trademark without the prior written permission of the website owner.


At GGTC we understand the importance of protecting children in the online environment. It is to that end that we will not knowingly accept or collect any personally identifiable information form a child of the age of 13 or under.


GGTC reserves the right to modify or amend these terms and conditions in any way. In doing so we will then display the relevant date of modification at the beginning of this statement to instruct visitors as to when it was last updated. Further instructions on the website privacy policy may at times be in the main web page content.
